Hi there! My name is Anis, and I was born in the Netherlands with roots in the Moluccan Islands. I love traveling and I've been to a bunch of places. I will be going on my first eurorail trip and am hoping some of you lovely people are able to host me on my travels.
I served in the Dutch military for a few years and I studied International Business Management, and am currently working in Sales in Barcelona, Spain.
I'm an outgoing person, love to immerse myself in new cultures and their histories. As I’m coming from islands with a rich past, I love to see similarities in our folklore. I like art, history, bouldering, I play american football and like to dance and hike from time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people and through CS it would be a great way to meet the locals and experience the true gems of the country and cities.
I will start hosting when I get back to Barcelona to give back a bit of my experiences.

Interests

I play American football, so I love watching but playing is more my thing. I surfed as a kid in Portugal and would love to be able to pick it up again. As you can see I like the active lifestyle, but love relaxing a lot too, especially with some good food!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I go back to my roots now and then, and I traveled alone for the first time without my parents to my family in the Moluccan Islands, and it was the best time I've ever had. Hunting, going to deserted islands to cook on the beach... the best!
