Overview
About Me
I have always loved travelling and have already visited many places.
My four month backpacking trip to Japan and Australia was the first holiday I spent on my own! It was amazing and that is mainly due to all the great people I've met along the way, of course including Couchsurfers!
I am currently doing work experience and visiting my family in the beautiful Cotswolds in England and after the summer will be studying Media Economics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've already had a lot of positive experience with Couchsurfing hosting as I used to share an account with my mum (see here for references: Member: Christiane Butlin).
We have met great and interesting people and even made some friends!
While travelling in Japan I enjoyed staying with locals. As everyday life there was be quite different from Germany! But also the foreigners who moved to Japan and kindly took me in could explain cultural differences to me!
Currently I am back at home with my mother and we'd love to show you our little island so come and say hi!
Interests
Apart from travelling and exploring new places I love reading and am constantly on the hunt for a new book. I also enjoy writing, watching movies and music. Of course I am always happy and curious to try new food (especially chocolate and sweets!).
And some times I write things on my blog Mindglitched (http://www.mindglitched.com/)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've spent two weeks in Kenya a few years ago, where we went on a Safari trip and I was allowed to visit the local school.
Also, I've done quite a few bike trips with my mum when I was younger for example cycling from Föhr to Vimmerby in Sweden, where Astrid Lindgren used to live.
I climbed Mt Fuji and it was the most exhausting thing I've ever done! I cuddled a koala! I bathed under a waterfall! I did a road trip to Uluru!
