Overview
About Me
Cheese & Bread ambassador | Marseille born | Algerian blood | East London based | Middle-East lover
Comes with French accent and serious cooking skills.
What my flatmate wrote about me :
The original French style icon. A whirlwind of wine and culture, Anissa is the house resident expert on Art and Fashion, with a finger firmly on the pulse of London's cultural scene. Presides over unusually monumental brunches and loves a bit of a dance. If you look like Harvey Specter, watch out!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe travelling is about sharing, meeting, discovering and adventure. I would not possibly travel and book a hotel room.
When I travel, I like a homey local feeling, I like to spend hours at local markets and come home to someone to cook local products and drink local beer.
I like long chats, and long walks. I constantly look for new people to meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Four years ago when no flight was possibly going through the Icelandic cloud of volcanic dust, I really wanted to surprise my baby sister for her 18th birthday.
I took a bus to Dover, A boat to Calais, a shared car trip to Limoges, and another one from there to Marseille.
The best 24 hours of travelling of my life.
And the surprise was amazing :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good laugh, a big and honest smile.
But also and almost more importantly a yummy diner cooked with love and north african/mediterranean/french inspiration.
