About Me

I'm friendly, easy going, love travel and new adventures. I recently traveled for 8 months in Australia, Bali, Thailand, Malaysia, Israel, Europe and Costa Rica. Absolutely amazing -- totally inspired by the art and art museums, culture, history, public transportation systems, cafes, and friendliness and helpfulness of the people I met. I grew up in a beach town on the east coast near Atlantic City and have lived in Washington DC, Santa Monica/Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, San Francisco. I have friends of all ages. When I stay at someone's home, I try to contribute and be as considerate and neat as possible, and add something positive to my host's experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting locals makes such a huge difference-- often the highlight of the trip -- and the couch surfing community seems to enjoy that.

I have hosted guests on AirBnB and stayed at Airbnbs as well, so familiar with the couch surfing type of thing. It can be great fun to show people around, hear about their life, guides what to do in the city, and so forth.

I'm fairly new to couch surfing, so far it's been a great experience. It's also nice to give something back in return for the privilege of lodging. I can be independent or hang out; love sharing any knowledge that is interesting.
