About Me

Hi there! I'm a 29 year young woman and I'm traveling through Tasmania, Australia and New Zealand. I've arrived the 12th of september 2017 in Melbourne and will be settling in Australia from Februari. In Belgium I worked as an HR coordinator in Belgium for 5 years in an ICT & Telecom company. Totally loved it, but I wanted to travel... And now I'm finally here!

What would make my trip special, is meeting local or just passionate and fun people. I'm interested in what you are doing in live to enjoy yourselves and the Australian or NZ culture and history. I guess being interested in different cultures has always been a part of me. I'm half Korean, half Belgian - maybe that's the raison? I'm an optimist, straight forward, and person who loves authenticity and a good conversation to!

At home, I played volleybal for nearly 5 years - so if you're up for some beachvolley, I'm your girl! And I was a member of a women choir "Famuse" (no-religious attachments). I wouldn't consider myself as a good singer, I just enjoyed it so much and to get the singalongs out of my system.

On my bucket-travel list for this year: getting my diving license in Thailand, Hiking the Kepler Track in New Zealand, work with the aboriginals, see the outback and west coast of Australia, get a job in Sydney, get my second year WHV. Any suggestions? I'm listening!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have the most eclectic taste when it comes to music. I like rock, pop-rock, elektro, even house, but I do enjoy as much singalongs and hiphop.

Psychology literature from early '80s. My favorite book is "the drama of the gifted child" by Alice Miller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Following my heart

Teach, Learn, Share

Totally eager to learn playing guitar

Maybe I'm not the best teacher, but I am a good listener.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've been told I make good Belgian Pancakes and I'm not a bad cook :).
Happy to cook a meal for you!
