Overview
About Me
Anita - I'm a restless soul. Always exploring everything around me, specially light…
Roaming with a hungry heart. I love meeting interesting people. I am quite impulsive.
I am always willing to get out of my comfort zone to learn and grow. I absolutely love a challenge.
I also sing sometimes. Allan says I got a voice from the 1920's.
I like to imagine myself being from Hispanic or Persian descent, even though I'm not. I just love the way they move, eat and sing.
Currently living with my partner Allan in Johannesburg, South Africa
About Allan - He is the perfect mix between an engineer-nerd and an artist. He loves everything French. He does parkour in his free time and has introduced me to so many MUST-watch art films. He had a band years ago, and now he plays solo guitar and sings. He loves putting effort into everything he does. Nothing is just 'sommer'. (Ask us what that means ;-) He is a humorous pessimist who LOVES life ! :)
We will be traveling on and off the next 3 months, so will only be hosting travellers from end of September again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I prefer a couch and a warm hearted host rather than a big silky hotel bed with the smell of money.
That could be nice too sometimes just to experience, but people do not talk to each other in Hotels.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can give photography tips and do some portraits of you
I can teach a little bit of Afrikaans. I can share my stories. I would love to learn some Spanish!
My partner and I are both musical. We both sing and we play the guitar and piano
Philosophy:
The problem is when you think you know everything. The secret is to unlearn what we have been taught.
