Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveler: Hiking and would rather sleep on couch then carry tent and sleeping bag everywhere. Get to know people of area where staying.

Host: I'm 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City, Utah; 45-60 minutes away from 6 ski slopes; minutes away from fishing, hiking, snowshoeing; and jump off point if you're on the way to hunting in Utah and surrounding states

Right now I'm not accepting surfers as I'm getting ready to leave for Europe. My son introduced me to couchsurfing and I'm giving it a go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mt Fuji, visited Nepal. Provided air support for Project Restore Hope-Somalia. Military deployments all over the Middle East.
