ABOUT ME

I am a easy-going, considerate and positive girl with a good combination of sensitivity and rationality. I am somewhat conservative but also have a crazy side, which has been well stimulated by living abroad. I always have a curious mind, particularly interested in humanity. That's why I love chatting with people and can always be a good listener.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I am traveling, I always prefer to learn a place from the local people living there. They are like the living heritage of the past well connected with the present. By getting along with the local people, I can better understand the personality of a place and thus I can remember the place as one of my friends in the future.

Interests

I have a wide range of interests. Music and films are always my favorites. I love singing, playing the piano and ukelele. Also I have a growing interest in Chinese classical novels and ancient poetries this year. Although I am a beginner of dancing, I have tried hip-hop, jazz and swing dance. Now I am just start to learn photography, hope my skills improved in the future. As for sports, I prefer peaceful ones such as bicycle, swimming, Yoga and cardio workout.

Music: Too much to say..... My favorite singer is a Chinese female singer Hebe Tian. Recently I am listening to Leah Dou , Real Estate , Nada Surf , Hyukoh
and classical music as well. (Favorite composers: Chopin and Dvorak)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been working in an art centre since last year in my university as a volunteer. I have seen many performances including operas, dramas, orchestras, live music and art movies! It's a really brilliant experience for me as it has offered me many opportunities to explore the western art world.
