ABOUT ME

I am friendly, compassionate, loving, generous to a fault sometimes; I love my life in this small community and my friends and family around me.

Interests

I am retired from my "life work" but continue to learn every day. I work part-time at the local "general store" and enjoy meeting new folks every day. I am a passionate quilter and gardener of herbs and other small plants. Fairfield is a a small community (450 population) and I love the quiet, the calm, and my family/community. I have three cats, love to cook and feed people, read, enjoy the mountains and life in general. I welcome new friendships--they are what life is all about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My whole life has been full of awesome experiences, but here are a couple:

Taking a road trip with my baby sister (7 years my junior) a couple of years ago. Until recently I have lived geographically far from family, and this trip was a real cementing of our sistership--she is also my best friend, along with the wife of my brother, whom I also consider my sister. These women continue to awe me.

My children have continued to keep me awestruck--they are adults now and I am so proud of the persons they have become!
