CURRENT MISSION
to accept and learn and find tranquility
ABOUT ME
I'm originally from Zimbabwe, but had the incredible luck to end up living and studying in Barcelona. I have a passion for languages and this year i'm taking an intensive spanish language and culture course in the hope that I will be able to stay in Barcelona and build a life for myself in this most vibrant and colourful city.
Im an easy-going optimistic person, always up for some adventure and fun and not always thinking things through. Above all i love meeting people - there is a special magical in meeting random and fascinating people. I am also extremely passionate about world music cultures and hope to one day promote the beautiful and forgotten heritage of the less commercial and less developed countries.
PHILOSOPHY
live every day as if it were the first - with innocence, curiosity and a smile
Centres d'intérêt
many.
Music - world music, especially more ethnic and traditional music.
capoiera, dancing
Wandering around old cities and supporting street musicians...visiting tiny villages and chatting with people passing by.
dancing salsa!
Good books, especially biographies, about social issues, or set in medieval times.
Striving to embrace my own freedom of thought and action so as not to become sucked into spirals of expectation.
Working towards having a greater impact somehow and helping people who may not be able to help themselves or are unable to fight the harsh economic and social class issues of today.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I went to a Peach March in the city near me a few weeks ago. One of my forever memories. The feeling of tuning into the feelings of everyone around you can be overwhelming and at the same time warm and comforting. There was a band at the march - a band playing brazilian rhythms. Amazing how the power of a beat can magnify and add to an experience.
