I work at home.

ABOUT ME

I am 65years and been married since 1973. I have two children: Janine,
38 and Dominic 34I work no more.
In my freetime I love to read, listen to music, go for a walk or meet
with my friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a person who loves to meet and get to know other people. During
trips to our sister citys (Vignola, Italy and Filton, England) I met a
lot of very nice people. It was just great to see experience different
cultures and countries by meeting the inhabitants of them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My daughter recommended CS to me. She met a lot of interesting and nice
people through CS and I found that a great thing as I always like to
meet nice people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many people (friend of my children, our friends...) have surfed our
couch during the years and always liked it. I have no experience with
CS.com yet.

兴趣

I my spare time I love to read, listen to music and go for a walk. I
attended two book binding courses in Mainz which were really exciting.
Furthermore I am an voluntary examiner for pepole who train to become a
"Hauswirtschafter/in". I am also interested in politics and social
commitment.

Cat Stevens is my favorite artist, but there is a lot of other music I
like, e.g. Rod Stewart, (zähl vielleicht noch ein paar auf...)
I take pleasure in reading novels that take place in Asia/China,
especially those written by Pearl S. Buck.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My most amazing experience so far was the possibility to take a ride in
a hot-air ballon. It was such a calming silence when floating high above
the ground and it was dreamlike to suddenly see the world below as if it
was made for ants. I would love to to that again sometime.
