About Me
Hi all! We are Anita and Martin, an Italian-Argentine couple. A year ago we left the comfort of our home, our work and our country (Argentina) to get to know the world a little more..
We came to Italy a year ago.. During this time we were doing workaway, a way of traveling by volunteering, which we loved! We discovered a new way of traveling by getting a little more involved with people, places and their cultures. (I have left some photos of workaway experience because we are new in CS and we have no references here yet)
We are open-minded people, we really like to socialize, talk, exchange ideas or knowledge, and we try to be 99% of the time with a smile!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Now we want to try this new way of traveling, which perhaps allows us to move a little faster, while continuing to get involved with people and their lifestyles, since we have a few months left before returning to Argentina again (just for a while! ! haha)
.
.
We still can't find our place in the world to settle .. so we can't receive people.
But as soon as we do, we would love to be able to welcome people to make this a "round trip" experience! :)
Music, Movies, and Books
(Anita): I can't define this so much .. it depends on the day, my mood or what I feel at the moment.
I can watch action or war movies one day, or just want to laugh with a comedy or cry with a romantic movie other days ... just like music ... I can cook, clean or travel listening and dancing reggaeton, or just relax listening to quiet music in English.
Martin just love Argentine traditional music, but he really adapts to listen to everything
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We think getting out of our comfort zone is already something incredible!
But we would definitely like to keep pushing our limits ... we think we are just getting started.
Teach, Learn, Share
We really like to cook (learn and also share our knowledge, but we are not a professional in this) and definitely everything related to nature (We are agronomist haha) We also learned a new language since we left home, and we would like to learn ( and perhaps teach) more.
And Martin also knows about soccer and cars, I can't include myself in this haha
What I Can Share with Hosts
In this (short) time traveling, we did many different things and met many diverse people, but we think that what is universal is respect and warmth. You can hardly see us without a smile or receive a bad response from us .. from the rest we can all learn :)
In a year in Italy we have made so many friends with whom we are still in contact, that we still can't believe it!
