ABOUT ME

I'm Anita, 27 years old and I came back to Suriname to work here for one year!:) It's my second time here. In my spare time I'm going on trips in Suriname (the best are hitchhiking and camping trips), chilling in my hammock, swimming, going out .. etc.. I just moved to Nickerie!
I work in a hospital which means I have weekend, night and evening shifts. That's why I might not be able to host sometimes.
I'm not a star in planning far ahead, so I prefer to receive requests short (about 1 week) before the planned stay.

I couchsurfed in Somaliland and Benin and hosted in Suriname, great experiences! I like to get to know backpackers and other travelers who make it to Suriname! My backpacking life now is a bit boring because I'm working..

Interests

Sailing, travelling, going out with friends, hitchhiking, camping, sleeping in my hammock..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked with a horse cart in Romania:D
I traveled in West-Africa on my own.
I hitchhiked in Somaliland (never told my mom).

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach you some Dutch (which is not very useful). I really want to learn how to survive in the jungle!
