Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a lot of good memories from hosting and surfing, and I often think of the people I have met through CS. Some I still keep in touch with and meet up with when our travels cross. Every couchsurfing experience has been a good one, even the ones that were brief, I gained something positive from.

Interests

There is an indigenous group in Colombia that starts every community meeting with a jam session. I think the world would be a better place if the UN did this at every meeting.

Music, playing and improvising with others;

Some current favourite movies: Amelie, The Red Violin, most by Tim Burton and Wes Anderson and sone Woody Allen, Big Fish, Lord of the Rings, Napoleon Dynamite, Oh Brother Where Art Thou?

Some favourite authors whose books I read again and again: Brautigan, Kundera, Du Maurier, Steinbeck, Tolstoy. Rght now I'm reading Vonnegut's Slapstick.
