ABOUT ME

I'm Anna and I'm from Finland. At the moment I live a bit here and there and no where - at the moment mostly in Lugano (Switzerland) or Malcesine (Italy).

I love languages, cultures, food, travelling, running, music, wine, coffee, dancing and people. I want to travel, get some great experiences, make awesome memories, meet new people and learn a lot of things.

I consider myself a little shy, but I guess my friends don't. I'm very talkative when I'm in that mood. I think I can also be funny sometimes?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet new people, but I cannot host right now. So I'm always up for a coffee! BUT.. I don't use CS as a dating site, so please.. Don't even bother to send me "dating request".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In spring and summer 2010 I couchsurfed quite a lot in Greece. It was a great experience and I met great people. I'm still in contact with some of them!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I listen to all kind of music, but right now mostly Greek and Spanish music. But it all depends on my mood. The important thing with music is that it has to make me feel something...happiness, sadness or maybe something else. If it doesn't, I don't listen to it.

BOOKS
Sometimes I read a lot, something not at all. One of my favorite books is "Broken Paradise" by Cecilia Samartin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best things I've done in my life was my exchange to France when I was 17. That made me even more interested in cultures and languages - and it made me more brave. Since that I haven't stopped travelling! I also did another University exchange to Greece - that's when I also started using Couchsurfing. I have also worked four years as a Tour Guide in different countries - for example United Arab Emirates, Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Cuba!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love languages. I can teach Finnish, Swedish.. or maybe some French? I'd love to improve my Italian and Spanish.
I love to share and hear travel stories!
