Overview
About Me
I love hearing about people's interpretations of their experiences and sharing my own. It's time for a change, so I'm up for trying new things and having different types of experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love being fully engaged with the world, which happens when I'm out of my normal environment or introducing someone to situations outside of theirs. I'd like to revisit my backpacker roots and find some adventure, either at home or by traveling!
Interests
I'm fit and nerdy and so my interests combine the technical with the physical! There's nothing quite like trickswapping little nuances and fun combos whether it's belly dancing (cabaret, Egyptian, fusion), flow arts and fire spinning (poi, fans, triads, staff) or a gym workout. My husband and I go glamping at regional burns and he's been introducing me more to the outdoorsy lifestyles with his hobbies including mountain biking and climbing.
For work, I've been in startup for about 10 years at 7 fairly similar companies as a food scientist and project manager. We replace additives with improved engineering. If you want to talk shop, I'll tell you all about the food industry.
