I am a wildlife veterinarian who loves to travel, the ocean, summer, being out on a boat, to meet new people, discover new places, learn about other cultures and spending time with my friends. I am a certified scuba diver, love hiking and spending time in nature. My passion is to see and photograph animals in their natural habitats, especially marine animals.
I grew up in Bielefeld in the center of Germany, studied in Budapest and Berlin and spent about one year (in total) in Massachusetts (USA). My goal has always been to pursue a career in the field of aquatic wildlife research and conservation. I volunteered at different wildlife, rehab and research facilities in Africa and the US. I am currently doing my PhD, working at the German North Sea coast, doing research on and monitoring the native marine mammals.
