I'm a high school graduate not wanting to immediately dive into university and work, so I'm planning on travelling a lot!

I have a younger sister so I'm used to sharing space and food :) I value respect and honesty in people and I absolutely love having deep conversations with people who are like-minded or those with a different point of view. I'm still learning in life and I want to seize every opportunity I get.

I'm a very happy person in general, I appreciate every little thing in life and every day I'm awestruck with how good I have it.

A friend recently told me about her good experiences with couchsurfing in Ireland. Even though I'm fresh out of high school I have already travelled a lot on my own or with friends and couchsurfing seemed like the perfect opportunity to make the most of any future journey!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't want to live in expensive hotels when travelling but really get to know the people and the culture, connecting in the best possible way with local people and making new friends :)

Interests

I like learning new languages and I'm interested in both contemporary and fine arts. I love being ouside, walks in nature and hiking. Even though I'm not an amazing player, I play the piano in my free time and I also draw a lot. I eat a mostly plant-based diet and am looking forward to trying new dishes wherever I go.

Music, Movies, and Books

You can make me happy with almost any kind of music, my favorites are bands like Fleetwood Mac, the Lumineers, Bon Iver and alt-J. I'm also a huge vinyl lover and in any new city you'll find me looking for a place to find old records of Sam Cooke, Glenn Miller or old movie soundtracks.
I love reading dramas and historical novels, and if I start reading a good thriller I will be catapulted into another world and only wake up once I've finished.
I just rewatched 'Prisoners' for the millionth time, I loved Place beyond the Pines and Gone Girl and I also enjoy watching foreign films like The Hunt or Intouchables.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a tidy, organized person and I don't need any luxuries to be happy, I just want to know the place I travelled to as best as possible and have a good relationship with my host :)
