I am Italian and I am formed in architecture. During time I discovered that technical things may be a bit boring so I dedicated my time to the creative realms that this profession can offer and I started working as a curator for exhibitions and publications, writing articles and searching for occasions to travel and learn about new cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I an on Couchsurfing mainly to have the opportunity to travel to different countries and know local people. As one needs so much time in a place to really understand the way the people live and think, I believe that spending time with people is the best and fastest way to learn and get introduced into a different culture. As a host, I can receive other ones' travels and experiences at home and have a glimpse of the outer world.

Interests

I love dancing and I experimented several activities, such as contemporary dance, contact improvisation, flying-low, African dance, yoga, pilates, gyrokinesis... but my first love and formation since many years is capoeira angola.
In parallel I am dancing tango and I started to research about its music and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love literature and music, at present especially Italian, Argentinian and Russian literature and rock and tango music. I also like to know local musicians of the countries I visit.
I like comics and knitting, also cooking, knowing about natural products and organic food.
I am very good in taking care of plants and I love cats.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crossed the Niger river in a night of full moon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love languages and I can share what I know about the ones I learnt. I like to share different information about pop culture of different countries and learn about it, and about other languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and I can prepare very good Italian dishes, such as lasagne, whatever type of pasta, pizza, melanzane alla parmigiana, cakes etc...
I can teach Italian, Spanish, Portuguese as my favourite languages.
For tango/capoeira lovers, I can translate songs lyrics into English and dance/play.
I can guide you in a full-body stretching session.
I can give you cool interior design advice.
I can help you with your graphic design projects and make some funny photomontage in photoshop to remember the time spent together :D
