About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get the formalities done :D

ABOUT ME

I'm an open minded person, curious about new cultures and always open to hear about new things. I love to meet people that are open minded as well and enjoy life just as much as I do. I am quite outgoing and open when I feel comfortable. But some times, a quiet moment is also what I need, most preferably on a beach with the sun shining around me and a book beside me. :)
I also love dancing, listening to music and partying, drinking alcohol is fine as well but I rather enjoy non-exessive drinking and rather no to drink.
I feel most comfortable when everything is clean and tidy, therefore people often see me cleaning up :D

PHILOSOPHY

Live your life the fullest and make the best out of your situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately no hosting these days

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couch surfing now quite a bit and I enjoyed every experience so far. My experience I have made so far are only in the USA, but I hope this will change soon. :)

Interests

I love doing sport and also trying out new sports. Currently, I am doing Krav Maga which is quite an eye opener in terms of danger out there. I played beach volleyball recently with a couple friends, and I really liked it. So this is what I want to try out next. Playing tennis is also something what I enjoy immensely.
Other than that, I love spending time with my frinds, going out with them, to the movies, and just having fun. I also love food, both eating and creating it. :D
I love reading novels which comes short these days since my studies take up quite some time and requires a lot of reading as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One moment that I would say that left me quite in awe, was when we drove through the mountains in Sri Lanka where they plant black tea. My mom is from Sri Lanka, but I grew up in Germany. After I graduated from school in 2009, I spend a couple months with her there and we went on several trips.
The view up there was so beautiful with the rows of rows of tea plants all over the mountains and the little village in the valley in between, surrounded by fog and sun.
We also went into the jungle and saw all kinds of funny looking insects and beautiful birds. And we were followed by a group of monkeys who even started a little fight up in the trees.

One other moment was when we went to the Niagara Falls and went on the 'Maid of Mist'. It was amazing to see how strong the stream of the waterfall was and the boat, as much as it tried, couldn't get really close to the falls.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some German and our culture. Besides I could introduce you to some typical German food and desserts.
