Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people and getting an 'insider's perspective' when I travel somewhere else. I love cooking together, meeting new people and learning about their lifestyle and ideas.

Interests

I like running, swimming, dancing and learning langauges. I can have a conversation in Spanish or French, but I'm not perfectly fluent in those languages. I'm currently taking classes in Salsa :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Crime fiction - from Sherlock Holmes to more contemporary stuff. But also quite open for other books - recently read 'A thousand splendid suns' by Khaled Hosseini - highly recommend it!
Movies: Again - it's quite difficult to boil it down to one favorite movie. One of my favorite movies was "Vicky Cristina Barcelona". Although I'm normally not too fond of Sci-Fi, I recently watched "Ex machina" and was thrilled.
Music: Indie/Rock - such as Mumford and Sons, Eels, Intergalactic Lovers, ....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing things have to do with travelling ;-)
One of the best experiences was to live in Glasgow, Scotland, for 7 months
