After some years of being a vagabond I can now host for a change since I’m finally a home owner :) !!!! I live on an island a 20 min bus ride from Stockholm, the ride is beautiful and you will cross three bridges, busses depart every 10 minutes from Slussen. I live in Gustavsberg which is home of a contemporary gallery showcasing progressive craft from around Scandinavia, and the old porcelain factory located here is now art-studios for professional artists (mainly working in ceramics). Here is also an outlet for Iitala design and the factory shop of Rörstrand porcelain, popular among some tourists looking for making a bargain on classic Scandinavian table wear and design. The archipelago around here is beautiful and the small but cute town has some nice cafes, restaurants and shops. I would totally recommend a visit to this part of Stockholm area!! Before living here I used to love coming here for work or visits.

11 day hike alone around Stewart Island, New Zealand. And solo bagpacking Iran for 3,5 weeks was also pretty cool.
