Overview
About Me
Hej, I am Anja and I am an open-minded creative PhD student with an inexhaustable thirst for knowledge. I looooove literature and art, thus, I love my studies. I am addicted to make new experiences and to see the world from other people's point of view in order to break the chains of narrow-mindedness, prejudices and injustice.
On the one hand I can spend days in the library, burying myself into my studies and into books or discussing political theories and philosophical stuff with my friends.
On the other hand, I love to enjoy live: Travelling, going to concerts, dancing (i have been bellydancing for years and currently i am learning burlesque), cooking and trying new foods/recipes, going to the movies/theater/art museums, visiting new cities, hiking and enjoying nature, sewing clothes and creating stuff, writing, doing a lot of sports (almost anything from yoga to weight lifting) and of course, meeting friends and new and old interesting people.
My personal philosophy is "...to overthrow all relations in which man is a debased, enslaved, forsaken, despicable being."

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Mainly melodic post-hardcore, black metal, doom, sludge, postrock kinda things. Dark wave, neo folk, singer songwriter, electronic music. Classic music. I mainly prefer emotional (in any sense), melodic, intense music with intelligent lyrics.
Film: mainly arthouse movies and non-mainstream films with unconventional visual language.
Some of my favorite films are: Eraserhead (David Lynch), In the mood for love (Wong Kar-Wai), Antichrist (Lars von Trier), The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (Fritz Lang), 21 Grams (Innaritu).
Books: Definitely too many to mention. I read a lot.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to sew (with a sewing machine) or to knit. I'm a good cook and I would love to show you how to make wonderful food and delicious cakes (also vegan if you like!).
Of course I would love to tell you something about literature, art, philosophy... if you are interested in.
On the other hand I would be very happy to improve my Italian & French, and I'm interested in learning technical and IT stuff like programming.
