We are Katrin and Anja – two besties travelling the world!

If you asked our folks we’re usually around with, they would probably tell you that we’re easy going guys with a lot of funny, sometimes stupid, comments and jokes, always about to smile and positively excited to what life holds itself ready.
That’s why we decided to face up to the adventure of travelling the world together. We started doing this with short trips to Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Czech Republic, Kenya and Tanzania and figured out that we wanna do it more cloying.
Katrin (24) just finished her studies and can call herself a social worker now. Anja (26) was already working as a social worker until she quit her job recently.
We’re happy, optimistic girls living active live. We like to meet new people, talk and have fun. We’re enjoying going out in the evening, drinking beer (as German women are supposed to do;), parties (we love 90’s!) or hanging out somewhere in- or outside and we're up for every adventure all day long.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the perfect chance to meet people in other countries away from those typical tourism stuff. You get possibilities to get to know and live with people you'd probably never get the chance to.
And also it's the cheapest way to stay somewhere. Awesome idea!

Anja already did a two-months-trip throught the US with other friends and they continously did couchsurfing. That was an awesome time! We met supercool people, shared incredible moments together and made the whole trip unforgettable. What I Can Share with Hosts

We will definitely cook a German dish for you (and German food is awesome!) and if you want we can also teach you a bit of German language (for example our favorite motto "S'Läba isch koin Schlotzer" that literally means "Life is no lollipop") or our German sense of humour (which is quite easy because we don't have one).

Afterall we promise you to host you as well in our wonderful city Freiburg in Germany, which is located on the border to Switzerland and France and give back at least the great hospitality we've already experienced on all over the world.
