Hi,

my name is Anja (in english pronounced as Anya, please) and I find this task of writing about myself kind of difficult, but I'll try my best.

I'm just a girl with a passion for traveling and lust for experiencing all that this life has to offer. I love spontaneous decisions and adventures that follow, simply because they tend to make the best memories.

I consider myself a nice, open minded, respectful and compassionate person. As a guest I respect the house rules and don't take up too much space.
The fact is I might not be the most extroverted human being you'll ever meet, but I still think I'm a good company, and am nice to have around. I'm a good listener as well.

If i get to choose between a crazy night out and a relaxed stay at home evening, I'd more often choose the second option, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy going out for drinks and a good party from time to time! The idea of stay at home evening might include anything simple, like cooking a nice dinner together (If you don't like to cook I gladly volunteer to do it), listening to music, enjoying a good conversation over a bottle of wine, watching a movie, playing board games or just silently watching the stars. And if while doing all those ''normal'' things we start feeling like going for a midnight walk around city wearing pajamas we can as well do that, or anything else, I'm up for pretty much anything.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing 2 years ago, but never got to use it. Recently I first tried it with my friend and really enjoyed the experience, so now I would like to join this community of amazing people as well.
I think you just can't deny the fact that experiencing a new place is best in a company of locals.

I study physiotherapy, so I can try answering common questions I always get, like "Why does my back hurt?" I can also show you how to draw a nice mandala or make a dream catcher.
On the other side I'd like to learn and try anything interesting you're willing to teach or show me.

I like to cook and bake (vegetarian, mostly vegan stuff) for people I like, so I can probably flip some pancakes, or something else we feel like having.
I can teach some Slovenian words - I know you'll probably never need them, but hey, why not?
Besides that sharing a drink and a conversation is always an option.
