About Me

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Berlin and I have always been fascinated by travelling and getting to know new cultures. After highschool I therefore worked as an au pair in Wales for one year and in Australia for half a year. During my studies I also spent half a year in America. Now that I am working in an online marketing agency and sadly had to say goodbye to my former flexible and exciting student life, I still want to keep up the amazingly multifaceted culture exchange.

I am a very easygoing and communicative person who loves a good laugh and to get taught and impressed by new ways to look at life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had such great experiences couchsurfing in Australia, America and many more countries that I want to be a host for others as well. I'd like to meet other couchsurfers, show them around town, offer them my couch and let them get to know some German culture activities like "Spätitrinken" which is basically just drinking beer in front of a kiosk. ;) The only request that I have is that you take the extra 2 minutes to send me a personalized request instead of a copy/paste one so that I know that you've at least read my profile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurf experience in Singapore in 2010 and I was really surprised how friendly and open-minded everybody was. I had an amazing time - thanks again, Amos! =)
Afterwards I went to Australia, America and Mexico and did some trips to different cities. I got to know serveral hosts who were all equally friendly and welcoming. I can't describe how glad I am that I had the opportunity to see all those cities from a local's point of view.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to watch "EuroTrip". It's hilarious how they make fun of each country's stereotype (which are obviously not true).

My favourite book is "Junk" written by Melvin Burgess.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting the pyramids in Calakmul which I had to hitchhike to and swimming with giant turtels in Akumal were the most amazing things I have ever done (so far)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some acrobatic moves, if you'd like
