Half Swiss, half Italian. I have been living around Europe and I am in Brussels since five long years.

From October 2018 to March 2019 I have backpacked trough Central and South America.

I started to use couchsurfing when I was 18 and did my first solo trip trough Europe.
After the great experience, I was a regular Couchsurfer user for all my university years, but things changed after I had a couple of unpleasant experiences when I was being hosted in Canada and Sweden. I started to use couchsurfing again only in 2018.

I still believe in the old fashioned version of couchsurfing : the one which is about meeting nice interesting people to exchange stories, travel tips, opinions, cooking recipes,... rather than to just get a free space to sleep or another tinder app. For this reason copy-pasted requests are a no-no for me!

PHILOSOPHY:

To meet interesting people during my travels and discover less touristy areas.
Also to have chats with locals while travelling alone.

I travelled around Germany, Poland, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, UK, Turkey and I have hosted really wonderful people.

mmmh...more or less...all and nothing!How can somebody choose to be interested only in something?

I am confident I can have a conversation on basically everything, but I really like politics, history, environment and animals.
I am also pretty good at listening stories and anecdotes.
From couchsurfers I like to know about their country.

I still believe in paradise... But now, at least, I know it's not some place you can look for, because it' s not where you go, it's how you feel for a moment in your life when you are a part of something...
and if you find that moment it last forever!

To people I am hosting I can offer a view of Brussels a tad less touristy, and some insights on the functioning of the European Union.

My profile is set on maybe, as I do not want to host people when I know I will not have much time to dedicate to them.

Hence, if I receive a nice and a little bit personalised request, I will answer maybe, ask more info on your plans, and then we can evaluate together if you still want to be hosted based on both our plans.

I am also happy to offer coffee, tea and the use of my kitchen and washing machine, if necessary.

When hosted I am happy to share time, discussions and I am happy to cook some Italian dishes! :)
