ABOUT ME

I'm a curious girl, wanting to travel the world!

In 2006-7, I spend a year in the US in a host family and now would like to travel some more and see new things and people (isn't that what everybody says :p).

I can be a bit crazy, I love to meet new people and to hear their stories!
I care a great deal about the environment (I became a vegetarian for this reason, but when I couchsurf I usually put this aside cause it can be difficult to do it at other peoples' place), I like to go out, to write stories, to be with people (even though I can be a bit shy at first), to be with my friends, to party!!
I love discover new things, to share a meal or a drink ;)
I like to cook (and to eat.. A lot!), laugh, read, listen to music, drink tea, I'm also a big movie and game fan and (I volunteer at a "game-bar") and much more but... if I go on, you won't have anything left to discover!!

PHILOSOPHY

Two things: all changes are for the good, always. And: happiness is inside yourself, it does not depend on others.

Those two things can be really hard to accept, understand and live with but I try to make the best out of everything and stay positiv, although it is sometimes hard.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a few people, I'd like to host more but it's complicated since I live at my mom's...

I traveled a lot with CS and I love it so much! Since I discovered CouchSurfing I went on trips where I didn't couchsurf and it wasn't as much fun. You don't get to experience the place you visit in the same way, and I feel that you miss out on a lot of things.
And I love to meet new people and share travel stories with them. Travel stories are usually the best!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've heard about CouchSurfing in the news and I was interested, that's when a friend of mine told me she knew somebody who was really doing it.

I had a project to do for school. It lasted for about 6 months and planed on going somewhere in the world to write a story. But I didn't want to be just a TOURIST! So I thought about CouchSurfing. And my plan changed. I'm went to some places in Europe during vacations, met new people, cultures and places and then wrote four short stories inspired from that experience!

Interests

Hum, I like... To travel! but alos: science, people, food, books, music (almost all kinds, from one extrem to the other!), I love to drink tea :)
I also very much enjoy movies, to do any kind of art, to study (yes you read right, I like to study :p), to TALK with people ;), to be with people, to party :), to swim, to bike, to be on my computer, to be outside, hiking, etc, etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A year in the USA, completely emerge in a family and at school... Amazing...

And a baby orca playing in the ocean water, around Vancouver, BC.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hum... I can teach you a bit about science, biology especially...
Or how cook (I loove food) some really good vegetarian things ;)

I would like to learn some stuff about how to meditate and relax cause I'm usually stressed out with school and stuff ^^
