Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

my best friend recommended couchsurfing to me. she had very positive experience with cs. it's a great idea and a great opportunity to met new people all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i traveled a lot with my best friend agnes to netherlands, norway and france, where we met so nice people. we had just the best experience with couchsurfers, all of them have been so friendly, helpful and hospitable.

Interests

DESIGN
i'm a communication designer with main focus on typography and passion for book design.

PHILOSOPHY and ART
i had a long period of output - worked many years in design and advertising offices - and started in 2012 a period of input. i began to study philosophy and history of arts in graz/austria and want to take focus on design studies in the future.

DIY - i love crafts and doing things by myself with my own hands. experimenting with materials make me happy. i like knitting, cutting, tailoring, printing, painting, also making music. i like to reuse, repair and recycle, create new things and like almost every kind of work with natural products, paper, wood, textiles or food.

RHYTHM - i love dancing and i'm interested in almost every kind of human performance. i've done myself dances like lindy hop, charleston, balboa, blues, flamenco, salza, irish, standard dances and of course my own freestyle dancing. since 2011 i'm totally into swing dancing (lindy hop, balboa, charleston). i hope i can learn the 'shag' soon. i'm a member of the swing dance group 'the lindy cats', we formed in spring 2014 here in graz.
i like playing musical instruments. i played the classical guitar for many years. i also tried myself in scotish bag pipe (beautiful instrument, but very difficult) and recently (in september 2014) i started playing drums. one of my dreams is to have my own band someday…
…and to have more lives than just one to have time for all my interests! :- )

TRAVELING and CULTURES
i am very interested in the religion, spirituality, philosophy, tradition, ethics, arts, crafts, fashion, living of different CULTURES and therefore i travel as often as possible. most of all i like traveling by train. i love sitting in the train and looking out of the window...
