About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Sharing my smile with everyone I meet

ABOUT ME

I am a fun person that loves traveling and meeting new people. I am always down for a good microbrew, hike, bike, etc. I love adventure and have fun stories to share. My infectious laugh and crazy curly hair are the first things you'll probably notice about me. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Approach all things with love in your heart

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am getting back into couchsurfering as I am recently been lucky enough to take advantage of the travel bug. I have met, not hosted, one surfer thus far in Traverse City, MI and stayed with a host in Grand Rapids. Definitely looking to beef up those numbers! I love meeting new people from all around

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has been amazing so far, but I dont have much to compare it to! One thing is that I hope my host(s) want to hang and get to know me - my last host notified me as I was driving down that she wasn't going to be there but "her roommate was home and cool." Is was weird, but not awful. Haha

Music, Movies, and Books

Regarding music, there is just too much to write. I just came back from the Firefly Music Festival - the lineup for this and last year pretty much can sum it up! Add in some rockabilly like The Red Elvises and Flogging Molly, punk like The Vandals and Dead Kennedys and rock like TOOL and that rounds it out pretty good. I love different kinds of books, mostly paranormal stuff. Just finished The White Tiger and loved it! Movies range from anything. I love comedies more than horror, still enjoy an animation or two and yes, I can be a sap at times too :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been able to travel to Norway and Sweden for free. In Norway I backpacked in the mountains and had the most delicious water from the stream! Last year I was a speaker at Tedx and that was pretty rewarding. Not very "crazy" but accomplishments for me nonetheless. :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In
