About Me
𝑷𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕 !
Welcome to my page✨ My name is Anju 👩🏻🦱🇯🇵
I’m a friendly, curious, easy-going, calm, and adventurous person who loves traveling!
Starting in January 2026, I will be traveling alone around the world for about half a year.
This journey feels like the second chapter of my life, and I have very special feelings about it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have given up my stable job. I’m so excited to finally step out of my comfort zone and embark on an adventure I’ve always dreamed of🌏🎒
I hope to move to another country outside Japan within 1-2 years, but I’m still in the process of discovering who I am. To help with that, I use Couchsurfing — I want to meet people from all over the world, hear their stories, gain new perspectives, and enrich my life.
I love exploring new cultures, trying different foods, and connecting with locals to experience the authentic vibe of each place. All of these bring me so much joy ♥️
⚠️Safety note:
For safety reasons, I usually don’t stay with or meet people who have fewer than 10 references or no references from female surfers.
I’m quite small and not physically strong, so I try to be cautious and set clear boundaries in advance.
I’ve had some uncomfortable experiences in the past when I was in vulnerable situations, which is why safety is very important to me. I hope you understand that this is not personal.
I also receive many messages every day, so I reply selectively and thoughtfully.
Thank you very much for your understanding 🌱
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using Couchsurfing because it was recommended by a friend at university. I’ve always loved talking to people and sharing ideas, and Couchsurfing felt like a natural way to connect with others beyond my own world.
Japan is an island country, and Japanese is our native language. Compared to Europe, there are fewer opportunities to experience different languages and cultures on a daily basis. That’s why I’m drawn to international connections and cultural exchange.
I believe that living the same way as locals — even for a short time — is one of the most exciting ways to travel. It helps me see the world from different perspectives and often gives me important hints about how I want to live my own life.
I’m also naturally curious about everything. If I have a chance to try something new, learn something different, or step into an unfamiliar environment, I want to take it.
When I was 19, I traveled solo through Germany, Austria, France, the Czech Republic, and Hungary for 36 days — my very first time in Europe. I was a student on a tight budget, but thanks to Couchsurfing, I was able to create so many unforgettable memories and meaningful connections. That experience strongly shaped the way I travel today.

Teach, Learn, Share
Let me share a little piece of my dream here.
I believe that when dreams are written down, they become powerful words — and one day, reality ☺️✨
• To travel to at least 50 countries around the world within 5 years
• To return to Japan once or twice a year, even if I live abroad
• To earn income in foreign currencies, not only in Japanese yen
• To join a German-speaking choir and sing Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9
• To make at least one genuine friend in every country I visit
• To have my presence and words inspire or encourage someone
• To become part of someone’s life story — leaving them feeling, “I’m glad I met you.”
