ABOUT ME

When I started with couchsurfing in 2008 my friend and I shared an account. Two good friends who got to know each other in high school we got on the road an online to make new friends and find places less explored.
Over the years I have travelled alot, hosted even more (living in Berlin for 6 years gave my flatmates and me the chance to meet amazing visitors from around the world).
Besides casual encounters and exploring I love to just "go with the flow" and see where it takes me. I like to chat about life the universe and everything, enjoy to be outdoors and watch the grass grow. Except for winters when I grab a plastic bag and go sledging with my friends...overtaking all the kids on the hill!
My philosophy is to never expect anything (or at least not too much) and in return to always be (pleasantly) surprised. Going abroad I'm always taking curiosity and excitement.
Right now after ten years of living in Berlin, China, Hongkong and the Netherlands I am back with my boyfriend in my hometown Dresden and am working for a centre for contemporary arts.
If you fancy a stroll, want to go exploring or surf our couch give a shout. We're more than happy to make some room :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mainly host and surf...but whenever I lived in another city it was nice to meet couchsurfers in big groups and get to know the city better that way.

兴趣

I like to be on the road, in the world and in the city :) I'm very active and love to dance! A friend of mine told me i look a little like the mad hatter on the dance floor. Nature is my biggest pleasure, botanical gardens, forests, reservoirs...all that jazz. Whenever I find time I hop on my bike and leave the city.

To explain the style of music I really like to listen to, some friends and me created our own one - individual, cause there´s too much and we aren't such great experts to specify any direction. Individual covers classic as well as independent and world music. to make a long explanation short, I like alot! What I listen to, and when or in what volume I do it depends on my mood. I guess there is way more to say to that topic...but let´s face it, stop talking, listen!
Same counts for books and other fine arts.

Hm, there are so many things, but i like it alot, whenever i realize that people are helpful and selfless. The other night i actually got a ride from the police home cause i missed the last bus! ;)

教，学，和分享

I would love to improve the languages I am learning and juggling, because sofar I have only taught myself through youtube videos. When it comes to teaching I can try and spread some of my unqualified views on tea and languages. Or if you'd rather have some qualified input I can offer stories about China and Hong Kong :)
