ABOUT ME

I like to get out into the world and just go explore. Whether that's hiking or skiing in the mountains, or driving down some unknown road, or just booking a plane ticket to someplace I've never been.

I always have a camera with me, and I'm apt to drive down random back roads, on a whim.

I really try my best to be uplifting to anyone around me. Not just friends and family, but total strangers.

I believe if you think of life as a lesson, you will always be learning. If you think of life as an adventure, it will always be exciting. If you think of everyday as an opportunity to love, you will spend your whole life loving.

Also, I love (and really need) things that make me think.

PHILOSOPHY

I really like living outside my comfort zone. It makes me appreciate things in a totally different way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I moved to from Breckenridge, Colorado to Story, Wyoming a few months ago and i have been really bad about hosting during the frigid winter. And i was really bad about responding to requests for my old place in Breck. And, i can't really figure out how to respond to requests, sometimes. I don't know why i find it so confusing? But anyways, it is spring now, and it's beautiful, so i'm ready to open up my home again and also to get out and explore some more. I've surfed a little in India and Colorado. I really want to surf some more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been "surfing" ad "hosting" for years (long before I ever heard of this website). I just love to meet fellow travelers and tell stories and make connections.
I've done everything from sleep on the floor, to pitch a tent in the back yard.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to "pet" an octopus 100 feet under water last time I was scuba diving in Hawaii. It was really soft!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to draw and paint and i always have tons of extra artsy-crafty materials for anyone who just feels like being creative. I would like to learn more about photography. I am always up for anything kind of physical and fun: dancing, yoga, biking, rafting, anything!
