Hello, I am a 31 year old professional who is very eager to travel and see the world. I am in the healthcare field because I love working with people on that personal level. I grew up in a small town and value personal interactions from close communities. I love supporting the local and sustainable and organic food culture. I consider myself an optimistic and easy going person. I basically want as many opportunities as I can to live and experience life on a multitude of levels and learn how other people live life too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couched surfed all over Europe this summer and was hesitant at first. But my friend Taylor swore by it. I was so happy that I did, it allowed me to make friends with people I would never have normally met and opened my eyes to the reality that everyone is basically so kind. I couldn't believe how all kinds of people just let you into their home and share their lives with you for a few days. I have so much faith in humanity because of my experiences with couch surfing. My experiences in Europe has inspired me to want to host and help other travelers to have a comfortable place to go when they are traveling. I love the friends I have made and the experiences that I had which made my trips so much more authentic and fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds, I love festivals and live music! Alternative music, punk music, old rap, hip hop, folk music, oldies, chick music. I would say my favorite bands are the Beastie Boys and the Red Hot Chili Peppers! But I love all kinds, not much of a metal fan but I think Pantera rules :)
I read books like crazy, all kinds form suspense to self help.
I like all kinds of movies from dawn of the dead, to the usual suspect, to the notebook. Its really hard to answer this completely there are so many. I like Dexter, breaking bad, game of thrones, greys anatomy, queer as folk and Scandal. Anyway I like all kinds of everything!
