ABOUT ME

I am a doctoral student of linguistics and translator. I love meeting new people and trying new things. I try to live, not exist. I believe that life is too short to waste it on just working and sitting at home. I'd like to explore the world, make a lot of friends everywhere and be able to say "I regret nothing", remebering that you only regret things you haven't done. Now I live in a tiny room in Warsaw, where I can barely fit myself, so it is for now impossible to stay at my place. But as soon as I settle somewhere, where there is at least some floor space, you're most welcome to send me a request :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and travel. I believe that only by spending time with people living in a country I visit enables to really experience the culture. I'm looking for hosts that are able and willing to show me around the places I visit (I'm even happy to pay for that or take out for a nice dinner :) ).

Music, Movies, and Books

Kurt Vonnegut is my favourite author. I like old movies, especially starring Audrey Hepburn. I listen to rock'n'roll, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and trip hop as well, when I'm in the mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've dived in the Red See, windsurfed on the Atlantic Ocean, rode a camel in Sahara, swam with dolphins in the Red Sea, ate a rendeer in Sweden, hiked in the Arctic Circle and climbed in Caucasus Mountains... and much more, but still not enough!
