Overview
About Me
“The plain fact is that the planet does not need more successful people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane. And these qualities have little to do with success as we have defined it."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be honest: it was about saving money in the first place.
But then, I was hosted by great people in Indonesia who show me a side of the country I couldn't discover otherwise. They were the reason why then, I become host in Indonesia too (when I rented a house there for one month).
This community lives by the principal of sharing. And it's a big chance, to make good friends out there in our beautiful world.
Music, Movies, and Books
Currently I read "Anna Karenina" from Tolstoi (I love it!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed mountains, been awake for days, swam oceans, wrote love letters, been so drunk I couldn't remember the night....?
No. Simpel as it is: giving smiles to strangers and make our life a bit better at least for a second. (By the way it's one of my ideas how we could make this world a better place, smiling to each other more often instead of ignoring each other.)
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom
