No one usually pronounces my name right when traveling but I’m Anke, full time backpacker from Germany with big dreams and a shrinking bank account exploring full time right now for about one year. The best adventures are often the ones you don’t plan so I live one day at a time, ending up somewhere in whichever country I’m in, looking for the best budget friendly activities with other open minded travelers. Música, películas y libros

Should’ve bought a kindle before leaving on the backpack trip because books are HEAVY man. So not reading too much currently but I do love to watch series that origin in the country I’m traveling in, especially if it’s fantasy or romance <3 Fav all time movie(s) is Harry Potter, watched and read it in three languages.

One of my favorite moments is traveling solo through South East Asia where you simply cannot end up without new friends along the way. My trip highlight so far was Couchsurfing in Japan, where hospitality goes beyond anything and the people offer so many smiles and fun times together!

An open mindset is the best way to learn something new if you ask me and I am currently trying to learn language number 5 🇪🇸 definitely gets confusing but will manage! Also don’t take yourself too seriously please, life is tough enough!
