ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Anke, 26 years old and enjoying life as much as possible!
I'm currently traveling around New Zealand on a working holiday visum. I just spend a year in Australia too and I absolutely love that country! The nature, the animals but most of all the great hospitality and friendliness of the people from there! You guys rock!!
Hope New Zealand can offer me the same!

But let me tell you something more about myself. I'm studying environmental science, on an independent base. So I'm practically home all the time :) which gives me the opportunity to travel as much as possible (read: as long as I have money :p)
My hobbies are horsebackriding, snowboarding, surfing and I'm also very interested in photography :) but I'm still a big amateur :p.
Furthermore I'm an outgoing, social and kind person, who's in for pretty much everything :)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've already been to Stockholm, Sweden where I met a pretty awesome guy! And with a friend I also discovered Mulhouse, France trough a couchsurfing friend. Already 2 great experiences, so hopefully many more to come!!! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of things, maybe not so spectacular, but for me an awesome experience and many many good memories. Like hitchhiking through France, visiting Stockholm through couchsuring as I already mentioned above. But also stuff near home, like being the leader of some child camps. Everytime a great experience and fun times :).
And the last thing I've done was going to the US to work with horses over there, for 3 months. And that was by far the greatest one ever :) really loved my time there and the people I've met etc etc...
