About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living timeless!

ABOUT ME

I'm an international grad student who just returned from a year at SIU Carbondale, IL back to Germany. I am orignially from Rostock, Germany and continue my studies with a MA in Linguistics, Translation and Cultural Studied with English and Spanish in Germersheim, Germany. I love travelling and try to spend a lot of time in the outdoors. My friends describe me as a open minded and super spontaneous explorer. On my travels I'm looking forward to meet new people and explore new cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections." (Gerard Way)
Smile your troubles away!

Mainly couchsurfing but thinking about hosting in the future once I have my own place at college back home (Germersheim, Germany).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just getting started ... so far I surfed twice, each for two days and both eyperiences were wonderful. My friend Magda and I met two great people that shared a bunch of their travel stories and made us feel at home. So far so good! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: with the right mood and a well-directed movie or documentary - basically any genre works (not a big fan of horror and sci-fi though)
Music: Live music! - Anything works with the right people around - Country, EDM, rock, pop, etc.
Books: The Alchemist, Nicholas Sparks books, Mortal Instruments, Divergent, Hunger Games

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in the read sea and inside the Thistlegorm Wreck - mind blowing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Any person can teach me something about the world surrounding us and even about myself. Usually it's not necessarily teachers that we learn from the most. I'd say open-minded travellers and people that have made a difference have a good shot at teaching me something new.
