About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Move to Korea and learn Korean fluently!
ABOUT ME
I find it kind of difficult to sum myself up in an 'all about you' section. I'm not your typical 21-year old american bro. I'd like to think there's more to me than that. I love to read, but it's extremely hard for me to finish a book (I sadly admit). I love music, listening to interesting things people have to say, contemplating my existence on this tiny rock, and discovering new ways to view my life.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not sure if this is telling of my philosophy on life, but my greatest goal in life is to find a job that I am excited to go to work to each day. I believe happiness is key. I try to be conscious of my actions and their consequences.
I think in order to become open-minded, you need to constantly expose yourself to new situations when you're young. This is because as your brain gets older, it becomes less plastic, and less capable of making new connections. My neuroscience perspective haha.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf! Unfortunately, I don't have a good housing situation right now to be able to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have met some really interesting people through my CS experiences. I have only had one bad experience, and I hope it stays at one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One year ago, I studied at a University that was founded in 1218. And even though that seems like a large quantity of time, it's really just the tiniest speck in the timeline of a universe that's 14.8 billion years old.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my experiences in Asia! I can teach you saxophone, about the absolutely horrendous U.S. healthcare system, the detailed history of Korea and lots of fun facts about North Korea. I can teach you something cool about the brain (I'm a Neuroscience major)!
I'd really like to learn some kind of martial art, so if you know one that'd be really cool. But I like to learn about anything in general, so I'm sure there's something you can teach me!
