My journey has been enriched by the diverse landscapes and vibrant communities I've encountered in my travels, from the bustling streets of Paris to the serene beauty of Tasmania's natural wonders. I've been fortunate to experience the warmth of local hospitality, and I'm excited to reciprocate by joining the Couchsurfing community.
I thrive on embracing the unexpected, whether it's trying local delicacies, hiking in breathtaking landscapes, or simply engaging in heartfelt conversations with fellow travellers. Being the Public Image Director and Vice President of the Rotary Club of Howrah, Tasmania, I'm dedicated to fostering positive connections and making a meaningful impact on the communities I'm a part of.
As a guest, I deeply respect the importance of a host's space and will gladly adhere to any house rules. I'm eager to share my experiences, and stories, and respect diverse perspectives. Together, we can create unforgettable memories and make each journey a stepping stone to a more connected world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that travel is not just about seeing new places but about connecting with the people and cultures that make those places special. I'm on Couchsurfing to immerse myself in authentic local experiences, meet like-minded travellers and locals, and foster meaningful connections. I want to learn about the local way of life, share stories, and build friendships that transcend borders. Through Couchsurfing, I hope to explore the world from a local perspective, contribute to cultural exchange, and create unforgettable memories with hosts and fellow travellers alike. It's not just about finding a place to stay; it's about creating genuine connections and making every journey a chance to expand my horizons and appreciate the richness of our diverse world.
Interests
I'm a passionate traveller with a heart full of wanderlust. I've had the incredible opportunity to explore some beautiful corners of the world, including my home country Nepal, and countries like France, India, Thailand, Bahrain, and Australia. Each journey has enriched my perspective, allowing me to learn about diverse cultures, make lasting connections, and create cherished memories.
One of my favourite things about travel is the chance to make friends all over the globe. I believe that friendships are the true souvenirs of any adventure, and I'm always excited to meet fellow explorers, share stories, and build meaningful connections that transcend borders.
A special experience for me is hitting the road with my husband, enjoying the scenic beauty and the classic tunes of Nepali music. There's something magical about sharing these moments while travelling, and it's a tradition we cherish.
I'm an avid coffee lover, and there's nothing like a good cup of coffee paired with a great conversation. Whether it's discussing life's intricacies, sharing travel tales, or diving into cultural insights, I believe that the best memories are made over a cup of coffee or any drinks in general.
Community involvement holds a special place in my heart. I'm passionate about working in the community, contributing to meaningful projects, and making a positive impact. I believe in the power of collective effort, and I'm eager to learn about local initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and community events wherever I go.
If you're someone who shares a love for travel, music, coffee, meaningful conversations, and community engagement, I'd be thrilled to connect with you. Let's create unforgettable memories together and embrace the beautiful tapestry of our world."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most incredible things that happened during my travels was in France. I had the privilege of meeting a wonderful woman named Vavya, who opened her heart and home to me. Over time, our relationship has evolved into a special bond, and she's become a loving and caring mother figure in my life. It's a testament to the incredible connections we can make while exploring the world.
In addition to this heartwarming experience, my journey has led me to connect with like-minded friends through Couchsurfing, creating strong friendships across Europe, including some fantastic individuals in China. These friendships have blossomed into more than just travel connections; they're genuine, close relationships that bridge the distance and remind me of the global family we are all a part of.

Teach, Learn, Share
Traveling, to me, is not just about visiting new places; it's about embracing the opportunity to teach, learn, and share experiences with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Through Couchsurfing, I've discovered the magic of these three simple yet profound principles.
Teach: I believe that every person we meet is a potential teacher. Whether it's sharing insights about my own culture, offering travel tips, or simply engaging in meaningful conversations, I'm always excited to contribute in any way I can. We all have unique experiences that can enrich each other's lives.
Learn: Curiosity drives me to learn from the world around me. From immersing myself in local traditions to understanding the stories behind historic landmarks, every journey is a chance to expand my knowledge and gain fresh perspectives. Learning from the people I meet is an incredible gift, and I cherish it.
Share: Sharing is the heart of true connection. Whether it's sharing stories, laughter, meals, or moments, the joy of shared experiences is what makes travel truly memorable. I'm eager to share my experiences, my culture, and my enthusiasm for life. It's through sharing that we create lasting memories and foster meaningful connections.
What I Can Share with Hosts
When I stay with hosts, I believe in creating a meaningful and positive exchange. Here's what I can share:
Cultural Exchange: I'm excited to share insights into my Nepali heritage, including our traditions, festivals, and cuisine. Let's exchange stories about our respective cultures and explore the beautiful diversity that enriches our lives.
Travel Experiences: With my travels to Nepal, France, India, Thailand, Bahrain, and Australia, I've gathered a wealth of experiences. I'd love to share travel tips, recommendations, and exciting stories from these destinations to inspire your future adventures.
Friendship and Connection: As someone who values friendship, I'm eager to build a genuine connection with my hosts. Let's share laughs, create memories, and possibly forge a lasting friendship that goes beyond the stay.
Music and Roadtrip Joy: I've got a special treat for road trips! My husband and I enjoy classic Nepali music, and I'd love to share that experience with you. It's the perfect soundtrack for our road adventures.
Community Involvement: I'm passionate about community work. If there are local initiatives or projects where I can lend a hand during my stay, please let me know. I'm more than happy to contribute to the community and give back.
Coffee and Conversation: If you enjoy a good cup of coffee, we're in for a treat. Let's share a coffee and engage in meaningful conversations about life, travel, and everything in between.
Positive Energy: I believe in creating a positive environment wherever I go. My respectful attitude, consideration for your space, and willingness to help out with chores ensure that our time together will be pleasant and enjoyable.
Cooking: If my host is open to it, I'd love to cook a traditional Nepali dish for us to enjoy together. Sharing a meal is a fantastic way to bond, and I'd be delighted to introduce you to the flavours of my homeland.
