ABOUT ME
I'm fun, easy going, open minded and very independent. Love to travel and to meet travellers, and generally people from all walks of life.
PHILOSOPHY
Open yourself up to life. It's important to expeience as much as possible (good and bad experiences), to grow and live life to the fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I offer couch. And books. And good conversation. If you're a girl, we could paint our nails together while talking about life. If you're a man, we could still paint our nails together, while talking about life, if you're up for it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Has been an eye opener. It made me realize that there is so much more people are doing in the world, beyond the little bubble I live in. It's such a blessing for travellers, and especially for solo travellers.
Interests
I am very interested in everything related to travel! People, cultures and adventures capture my fancy. I also love to read and cook.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked New Zealand and Fiji Islands. It has been the most significant experience of my life so far.
Travelling to China was amazing!! Witnessing the Chinese New Year celebrations was one euphoric moment of my life. The great wall climb, hot pot and fire cup massage were experiences I'll never forget.
In India, we trekked to a small, quaint village in Parvati Valley, Himachal Pradesh. When we woke up in the morning, and went up to the terrace of this guesthouse with very basic facilities...a foreigner with long flowing hair was practicing sitar looking up at the rising sun in the white mountains. Another girl was meditating. In the guest house above us, a guy was practicing Tai-chi and another fire-poi. It was unlike anything I have ever seen in my life on a beautiful early morning.
In Pokhara, Nepal, woke up at 5 a.m. to see the 'fishtail mountain' lit up, golden, in the first morning sunshine, while the rest of the town and the valley and everything else was still dark. It looked like heaven lingering on the sky!
Teach, Learn, Share
If sharing experiences is a form of teaching and learning, then I have a lot to offer. Oh, and I can teach a few things about Indian cooking. :)
