About Me

A policy professional by day, thrill-seeker by night.

I'm passionate about trekking, football, cooking, and engaging in profound discussions about travel, life, geopolitics, and culture.

Impromptu-trips-to-new-and-unexpected-destinations is my specialty. When exploring a fresh city, you'll often find me wandering its streets, immersing myself in its rich culture, history, and vibrant atmosphere.

Sampling local cuisine ranks high on my travel agenda – I'm up for trying any culinary delight.

I'm excited to connect and share travel notes with like-minded trailblazers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, traveling isn't merely about sightseeing; it's about immersing oneself in the essence of each place

I find magic in connecting with locals and fellow travelers, delving into cultures, swapping stories, and gaining new perspectives.

Unlike hotel- and resort-dwellers, I thrive on the adventure of backpacking, surfing through couches or hostels seeking authentic experiences wherever I go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in 2018, my friend left me hanging on a planned trip to South East Asia. Despite his absence and with tickets already in hand, I decided to go ahead on my own anyway. What I initially feared might turn into a disaster unexpectedly transformed into one of the most amazing experiences of my life. It was then that my passion for solo backpacking ignited.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a simple traveler, embracing a thrifty lifestyle. I don't require much beyond a cozy spot to rest my head. 🛌

I bring to the table engaging conversations and tales from my adventures. 🗣️

I'm fairly decent in the kitchen (or so I’ve been told [in case you’re interested in some regional Indian dishes]). 🍳🍛

I'm happy to bring you a souvenir from my hometown if you like.🧧

But above all, what I offer is a lasting connection. 🤝

Countries I’ve Visited

Bhutan, France, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Nepal, South Korea, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Uzbekistan
