About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Free Gaza!

ABOUT ME

I can't speak a lot about myself. Generally, I am an easy going and friendly person. I am very interested in social sciences, disability, human rights and gender studies. I fight for equality, solidarity and democracy in my everyday life, in the school that I work, with my students. Therefore I cannot cope with one thing: Fascism/racism. So if you are a fascist or a racist, please make both of us a favor and stay away!

PHILOSOPHY

The only thing that i know now, is that we have to resist to all these that ruin our life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was erasmus in Montpellier(France) the winter semester(2008-2009)This experience really was one of the gratest in my whole life. Many friends from there told me about couchsurfing so when i came back to Greece i decided to participate. The whole idea of travelling, meeting new people, living in their place excites me and makes me feel like i am still an erasmus student!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After all these years , i have to say that all these experiences made me a better person. I really had great time, i made friends and wonderful memories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music- i also play the violin. I like Depeche Mode, Franz Ferdinand , The Smiths, Joy Division, Pixies, The Doors, The Clash. But my most favorite from all, is the Greek "rembetiko". Greek refuges from black sea and Smyrni wrote this kind of music when they came in Greece in 1920 , and they felt unwanted from both countries. The songs speak about revolution, misfortune , loneliness and one hope. that they will come back to their places again and they will have the freedom and their land.

Cinema: Kieslowski, Bergman, Almodovar, Kubrick

I enjoy a lot Greek poetry and literature, such as Kampanellis, Empeirikos etc. Otherwise, i prefer Brecht, Esse, Kafka. Lately I enjoyed a lot Philip Roth, Guenassia and Maurice Attia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that maybe the most amazing thing, is that -besides my family- i've met some people that became my family.
