Hey everyone! My name is Ann. I was born and grew up in Moscow. But last 5 years living in the Crimea city Yalta (now it`s Russia) with my husband Alexandr. I love both cities, but the Crimea is closer to my heart. There is adorable nature! We often go to the mountains and canyons, we love trekking and travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We haven't used couchsurfing before, because it wasn`t possible to go somewhere or take someone as a guest. But this year we had the chance to visit India, and it was incredible experience of couchsurfing. We met amazing people whom we can`t never forget. In the future, we plan to host foreign tourists in the Crimea. It's so cool to communicate with people from other countries. We are all like from different planets, and at the same time, there is always something in common.
My deep philosophical conviction that all people is a single organism. We do not need to quarrel, be jealous, be greedy, be selfish, after all this, we harm ourselves. This makes no sense. We have to cooperate, to help each other and work together to achieve higher goals. To give each other happiness, to let other people into your life and treat everyone with love. Couchsurfing allows people to at least find new friends, to spend good time and fun traveling and as a maximum to fulfill their altruistic impulses to help people and to make life better. And I like it:)

Interests

My specialty is public relations. I interned and worked at several PR agencies in Moscow, but quickly realized that office work is not for me. After that, I got an education of cosmetology, and loved this work and my clients in Moscow. But after moving to the Crimea I started work at home as a web Illustrator (vector graphics). Because of this I became interested in graphic design and photography, began to draw. I love my job, it is interesting and at the same time, I have a lot of free time to enjoy life and devote time to my hobbies.

I'm a vegetarian and love to cook. I took courses on vegetarian cuisine in Moscow and I love Indian food. However, I am tolerant of people who eat meat. I love animals, but unfortunately, I have an allergy to them. I have been practicing yoga for 4 years and want to deepen my knowledge in this area. Try to obseve the day and nutrition regimen, but at the same time, do not worry if I need to adapt to the circumstances.

Maybe it's hard to believe, but I love life, everything I do I wonder, I get up in the morning with a smile and go to bed with a smile. I'm interested in other people, and I feel very happy when I can be useful to them.
I played in professional badminton, and I still like it. I wove bracelets for sale, played the guitar. I also briefly studied Spanish and it's my favorite language. All my life I study English here and there, but I still can`t speak fluently, not enough practice. But I understant that knowing English is very important and continue to learn it. In general I have many hobbies and I'm happy to get a new:)

My husband Alexandr graduated the institute as a teacher of history and law. But now he works with me at home. He knows a lot about computers, photocameras, mobile phones and other gadgets. He is vegeterian too. He is very kind man, always smiling and polite. He loves very much animals (especially dogs:) and birds. He likes sport and practices yoga too. He is interested in history, architecture and culture.
