I am single so I live alone, no kids or pets, I am an organic vegetarian but I don't mind you eating and preparing meat, I have my opinion on eating meat - which I will keep to myself, I don't judge, welcome! :)

for years I have traveled the world, now I am living in the town where I grew up and I want to keep on meeting travelers so I am offering my couch :) you can also put a tent in the garden if you prefer more privacy...

I love movies based on a true story (the Straight story, intouchables (french, my nr 1!), the boy in the striped pyamas, into the wild, the experiment, the king's speech) or documentaries (Michael Moore, food inc, the world according to Monsanto, supersize me, gasland, manufactured landscapes, the age of stupid) and feelgood movies like le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain, pirates of the caribean, chocolat, benny and joon (Depp-addict :) )

I devour all books from Paulo Coelho, Nicholas Evans, Nicholas Sparks, Dimitri Verhulst, Naomi Klein...

every year I try to do something I never did before or try to overcome a fear (karaoke is on this year's list :s), so far I've traveled the world on my own with a backpack, I've skydived, gotten a dive degree, paraglided, I've had a close encounter of the scratching kind with a kangooroo (actually a euro) - amazing story! cute scar... ;)

schilde is located 15km (10 miles) from antwerp, there are busses going every 15 minutes until midnight, the bus stop is 1.5km (1 mile) away but I can pick you up with my car if necessary
