ABOUT ME

I am a travel-lover ! I come from a tiny archipelago east of Quebec province (called Magdalen Islands) with a population of 13,000 people... For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to travel... and I did ! I love meeting new people, connecting, learning, discovering new cultures, but especially, I love to be lost in a city and discovering unexpected elements, people or situations. I love to learn. I like to travel alone, but now that I have a family, we experience different travel styles.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travelled in South America and used CouchSurfing a lot... and LOVED it. I can meet for coffee, talking about anything or practicing your French and/or English :) (I would also love to improve my Spanish). I think that this community is a big family and I want to contribute as much as I can !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted by WONDERFUL people in San Francisco, Campo Grande and Florianopolis, Buenos Aires, Cuzco, Lima... and I've been hosting unofficially when I was living in Yellowknife, Canada !

Interests

People. I like people. I like to meet them and talk with them;
Sports (volleyball, outdoor activities, kayak, hiking, hockey...etc);
City planning and urbanism;
Museums, art in general (especially painting), music from every style;
Politics and economy.
But most of all, I want to have fun every day I am on Earth! So everything's that seems cool, I am in !

Music: Greenday, Ariane Moffatt, Mozart, Beast, Bob Marley, Frank Sinatra, Norah Jones, Madonna, Annie Lennox, The Doors, The Beatles, The Cat Empire, Shania Twain, Simon and Garfunkel, Oasis... I am very open minded!

Books: too many ! The Alchimist was the one that made me love travelling and doing introspection...

Movies: EVERY JAMES BOND !!!, Into the wild, Forrest Gump, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Sabrina, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Kill Bill 1 and 2, Batman Begins...

Edinburgh and Corsica... WOW !!! You MUST see that once in your life !
I did Tyrolienne in Costa Rica... that was pretty awesome too.
But nothing worth more than a sunset... in every beach I am travelling!

Teach, Learn, Share

Before teaching, I might try to learn a little from the experience... so I'll wait before filling this! But I want to learn from others... especially at a very human scale. I want to have deep conversation about love, about life.
