Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend and I enjoy traveling and are currently preparing to go to Hokkaido, Japan to ski and would love to meet some local people who could give us some insight into the local culture while we are there.

Interests

I love to be In Nature and to do things that make my adrenaline pump. I love to ski, hike, walk, run, and more recently have been getting into climbing. I like to cook and share meals with friends and family. I enjoy taking photos and writing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, and could listen to reggae all day- it makes me happy! I like to watch skiing, climbing, or surfing movies to get pumped up for adventures! My favorite books include Eat, Pray, Love, On the Road, most books on writing, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, poetry including that of Pablo Neruda ...and so many more that I will add as I think of them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love Creative Writing and love sharing ideas about writing with others. I kind of know how to knit and would like to practice more so that I can make hats, slippers, scarves, and mittens. I practice meditation on my own and like to share that with others who are interested.
