Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish I travel more.
I created CS profile when I faced the problem to find vacant place in the hostel in Lviv (Ukraine) during the big Holiday.. My host was amazing guy named Orest. He encouraged me to quit the job as an accountant and go for a risk - try to spend a few month in Asia by my own.
I used CS before that trip to meet people from all over the world and to get to know what is there outside Ukraine (and to practice my English during numerous excursion around the city😉). For me CS is the coolest way to know foreign culture. It is great opportunity to see the city through the eyes of ordinary citizens but not professional guide. CS is a great way to make new friends in every country you visit. And if your new friends can offer you a shelter - that would be awesome 👏

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 I bought one way ticket to Thailand and spend there 9 months. So far it is the best experience I ever had.
