About Me

arrived back home after travelling for the past months and am happy to finally get the chance to host!

big lover of life and its adventures.
furthermore i like getting around, meeting new people and seeing new places.
i am open minded and keen to get to know the world, the people in it, the adventures it has to offer and my place in it.
i enjoy being outside and being active but can also relish a day or two inside with a good book and some fine cooking.
i really appreciate a good talk and sometimes a heated debate about politics, philosophy or whatever else topic one brings to the table.
i value mutual respect and place importance on honesty.
i do not stand racsim, sexism, homophobia or other forms of biased hate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i use couchsurfing in order to get in touch with local culture and the local people themselves. as i said i love meeting people and i mean it. in my opinion, being welcomed in their home by a stranger creats a very special foundation to meet somebody and this special process of getting to know someone for me is one of the greatest pleasures of travelling.

Interests

  • dancing
  • philosophy
  • food
  • techno

Music, Movies, and Books

when on my own i mostly listen to techno or indie or alternative or hiphop or basically everything else as well, but techno is my favorite, especially for nights out and dancing.
when it comes to books i read whatever i can get my hands on. obviously love lotr, getting more into stephen king these days, secret passion for cheesy crime novels. can't stand jussi adler-olsen books though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i walked the camino de santiago, learned spanish ("learned spanish") and actually, very surprisingly, found god.
and i once got myself in a situation where i was alone at a festival with nothing but a pack of cigarettes, my phone and a flask, 200km away from where i was supposed to be and i managed to have one of the best nights in my life so far.
both two achievements i proudly think of time by time.

Teach, Learn, Share

the only skill i have that i can really teach is cooking, that quite good tho. it would be very cool to get to know the local kitchen better but i am down to learn whatever you have to teach.
a langue exchange would be great as well, may it be english or spanish (whereas spanish is muuch more needed)

What I Can Share with Hosts

not much of material goods but i would love to lead a helping hand for whatever needs to be done.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, England, France, Ireland, Namibia, Northern Ireland, Scotland
